Cloth/Linen Clergy/Clerical  Collars 100% Cotton- various heights

“Permanent Urban” fabric or cloth/linen clergy collars, worn by Vicars, priests and some Bishops globally, do not require starching. Just wash, dry and iron! Clergy collars are made to the highest demanding standards and using only the best of materials.

These Clergy collars are known for their comfort and durability. I Launched these collars over 20 years ago in the United Kingdom, and have since found favour with many demanding members of the clergy. I have found that many members of the Clergy purchase one to try and within a short amount of time order more, sometimes a dozen at a time. There are now many Vicars, Padres and Priest wearing cloth collars which I have had the pleasure to supply.  These Clergy collars really are an ideal replacement to the plastic version which gets warm, smell, discolour and go brittle making them quite unusable.

Currently available in heights: 2.5cm 1″, 3.0cm 1 1/4″, 3.5cm 1 1/2″, 4.0cm 1 3/4″ and 5.0cm 2″.

Please note that I am phasing the 1″ 1.25cm collar out due to the low demand.

Looking after the collars

The cloth Vicar collars are easy to use and are easy-care, each collar comes with washing instructions but basically, you throw them in with your whites and iron without steam before they are completely dry. No need for specialised laundering, please do no starch, it will ruin the collar.

The plastic version also adds to the global plastic problem which is plighting our seas and oceans. We are doing our best to avoid adding to the problem.

Please note normally these collars are shipped “flat packed”, they need to be folded and rolled before attaching to your tunic shirt.

But these collars can be worn with most tunic shirts from other manufacturers. They are normally fixed to the shirt collar band using the front and back buttonholes with collar studs. (the collar stud shown in image is for display purposes and is not provided with collar).
